I can’t even begin to tell you how many times someone has called me “SuperMom”.
And I get it. I do.
But here’s the thing. I’m totally not SuperMom. I’m not even close!
I let my kids watch way too much tv when I am busy….which is always.
I don’t read my kids books every day.
My kids get sweets almost daily.
Sometimes when I need a break I just shove them outside so I don’t have to give them attention.
The twins only get a bath once a week if they’re lucky.
My husband showers the boys & gets them ready – every.single.night.
My husband wakes up with the kids – every.single.day. Including weekends! (yeah. I’m lucky.)
The laundry piles. The dust accumulates. And the floors go un-vacuumed for days.
But I guess I can see what you mean.
My children are fed.
My children are happy.
My children feel loved.
So, I guess if being SuperMom means that you have a loving, happy home….
then I guess I really am SuperMom.
