I used to be an avid bleach user. Seriously I think I may have had a problem. Oh the smell, that sweet, sweet smell.
But, I have been shown the light on a new cleaner.
Enter: Shaklee’s Nature Bright®. A natural bleach alternative – heck yes!!! I was very skeptic since I’ve always used bleach. I used it in my laundry, cleaning my floors, disinfecting toys, splashing it in my toilet bowls….the list could go on.
So, I thought I’d give this “natural” stuff a whirl. I put it in quotes because I wasn’t convinced it would be as good.
Insert this image here (taken with my ipod):
1. Nasty pee stains on the mattress. Totally TMI – but let’s be real, I’ve got kids that are potty training & this is just what happens folks.
3. I scrubbed it all up with an old cloth diaper insert & literally my jaw dropped as I saw it disappearing like magic.
I’m not even kidding people. I can’t just make up these pictures. I was like a kid in a candy store with the fact I could use this stuff to get stains out & it wouldn’t ruin the fabric!! (we all know how bleach can tear fabric fibers apart) I got so giddy, I went over to Cohen’s bed, which had a HUGE ring on it, and BAM – gone. I’m so ticked off I didn’t take before/after photos of it. I was just so excited I forgot!
I know I totally sound like a salesperson – but if any of you know me well enough you KNOW I hate selling. If I’m going to share something it’s because it is freaking awesome & works!
If you have stains you want rid of – get this. If you want to brighten your laundry – buy it. If you want sparkling toilets – you need this. Plus, a little goes a VERY long way so you’re saving yourself some $$ in the long run. (I only used about 2 tsp of powder for each bed.)
Even hubby approves: win – win.
